Sometime you just feel everything is going against you. Well the good thing is that you might come home with a good picture after all. A couple of days ago I when shooting and everything felt wrong. I didn't find the view I was looking for and every time I felt like I found a good angle there was something in the way. Trees mostly. Trees have a very good chance of being just where you don't need them. Trees also has a very boring color, like a green gray smudge with no interesting texture. Luckily Capture one is much much better handling this then Lightroom bringing out more detail and making you able to bring some life back in it. It's simple enough if you know how but I might make a tutorial on that some day.
Now back to this photo. I was bored after walking more than an hour not finding anything. So finally I decided taking this shot just to bring back something. I wasn't to happy about it but when I came home and started adjusting it it turned out pretty good. So occasionally you do better then you think, like this time. Sadly though it is often the way around. This mostly occurs shooting landscape though. Shooting objects or people makes it so much easier telling if it is a good or bad shoot.
