One week ago the first snow falled in Surselva. It was still quite warm so it melted fast so it was a race against sunlight. I grabbed my gear and drove down the valley. I have always wanted to take a picture of this fantastic building just outside Trun. It is still up and running so I had to get there at lunch time. Luckily the weather was on my side and it took me about an hour to get this picture. There was a truck parked on the right side of the building but after some adjustments to the angle I think it turned out great.
Happy as I was I continued down the valley and passed Waltensburg and saw the first light shining through. So I turned of the road and got this panoramic shot. I think the lightning turned out perfect. Not to much sunlight, just a bit. I don't really like sunlight as you might suspect if you looked through my photos. But a small amount can work sometimes.
Needless to say I got some poor shots to. The fantastic thing is you don't need to show them. This is the beauty of digital cameras. So let's keep on shooting. You will more or less always end up with something.
